Many years ago, there were opinions and talks that consumption of coffee increases the risk of cancer. However, recent studies show that drinking coffee every day may lower the risk for several cancer types, including colorectal cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer and head and neck cancers. Probably, there are ample factors that may contribute to the reduction of the risk of cancer. Nevertheless, the bottom line is there’s no tangible evidence that coffee can be the cause or help to prevent cancer.
