The second step in the coffee preparation is the brew. The brew is prepared using a special type of vessel made of brass or steel called the coffee filter. This device consists of two compartments, the coffee powder is filled in the upper cup and hot water is poured into it. To increase the pressure a compressor stem is used, this stem slows the speed of water percolation. The percolating extract is collected in the lower cup.
